We left our House on June 17th at 6:30 pm. We picked Jason up in Owosso and headed for Atlanta. The boys did really well. Jason and I were machines stopping only three times for gas. We got to Atlanta at 8:30 am and just played catch up for the day. When Ryan got out of work we headed for Panama City. It was a five hour drive and that drive seemed longer than the entire 12 hours to Atlanta. The way to Panama was through a ton of little towns and mostly 55 mph. We did make though and it wasn't too bad. The house was beautiful and the view was amazing. Ginger and her girls and Bryce and Suria and their kids didn't show up until Friday night. The kids had so much fun playing together and so did the grown ups. Jason had so much fun he lost his brand new eye glasses in the ocean.
Micah took this from Charlie and he wasn't too happy about it.

Its hard to believe that 5 years ago Jason and I walked through this walkway to get married.

We left Panama City on Monday Morning and embarked on the 7 hour drive to Treasure Island. We made great time following Speed Racers Bryce and Suria. We got to Treasure Island around 5:30. My stepmom Geri was already there waiting for us. She stayed with us the 3 days there. We stayed at the little place we got married. We just love it there. Bryce, Suria and the kids were able to come and hang out with us a couple days too. It was nice and low key and relaxing.
Max had a blast jumping into Jay's arms. Fearless that one
Thursday morning we left Treasure Island and headed to our friend's in Port Richie. The boys were both exhausted and out of control. Its always embarrassing when your kids act that way because you know people think your kids are always like that and probably that you are bad parents. Anyway, we had a lovely lunch with Chris and George and had a good time swimming in their pool. We only stayed a couple of hours and then headed to Atlanta. We got there around 11:30 and crashed for the night.
Kentucky on the way home.
Friday morning we took the boys to the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. Its the biggest aquarium in the world. It was quite amazing. They have whale sharks, giant sting rays, a number of different sharks and beluga whales. It was very impressive to see these creatures in real life. They also had different areas for kids to pet sting rays, little sharks, shrimp, sea urchins and a lot of other things. Max thought this was awesome. After the aquarium we headed home. It was about 1 in the afternoon by the time we got out of town and headed North. It took us 14 hours to get home. We thought this was pretty good given the fact that Micah pooped liked 6 times. I felt like every time we got going, I heard Micah grunting from the back and we had to stop again. We pulled in our driveway at exactly 3 am and stumbled into our beds. Its always heaven when you get to sleep in your bed. It was a great trip and the boys did so well.
Hello old friend

Our Vacation Has Begun
We left last night around 8 and drove through the night. We got to Atlanta around 8:30 this morning. The boys did really well. Micah didn't sleep as well as Max did but they were both troopers. We were all ready to get out of the car by the time we got to Ryan's house this morning. Max kept saying he wanted to go home. We are leaving in a couple of hours for Panama City. I believe it should take us 5-6 hours to get there. So another long drive but it will be worth it the second I plop down on that beach. I will be posting pictures very soon.

Micah
Micah turns one in just a few weeks. I really can't believe it. I have decided to have his birthday party on July 4th. I know some people won't be able to make it, but most people I talked to don't have much planned so I thought what the hey. I hope the weather is nice because we are having the party at our house and hopefully outside. Its going to be a tight fit if we all have to go into the house because of rain. I hope its fun.
This was back in December. Wow how time flies. Micah really hasn't changed at all in looks, but he is definitely bigger.

blah blah blah
I don't have a lot to say. I finally took my computer in to get fixed so hopefully Monday I will be hearing that its fixed so I can start posting more and putting pictures on the blog. I was going to take the boys to Boyne tomorrow but I just don't have the energy for it. We are leaving for Florida on Wednesday and I just really don't feel like packing everything for one night, unpacking and then packing it back up the next day. So we will play it low key and go to church and grandma and grandpa's house tomorrow while Jason goes to his conference. Its suppose to be beautiful tomorrow so I look forward to just relaxing and playing outside with the boys.

I am convinced summer will never get here.
It is freezing here. It just won't warm up. I remember telling Jason that I was excited to go to Florida in June to see everyone but it was going to be so nice here that I wish we were going at a different time. Well now I am super glad to be going to Florida in June because its so cold here. I need to travel 2000 miles south to have a nice warm day, ridiculous. Watch, we'll have hurricane weather the entire time we are in Florida. Anyway, it is rainy and 65 today and I am dressing the boys in jeans and a long sleeve shirts. We will have one nice day of like high 70's and then a week of 60's. I have heard that this entire summer is suppose to cool. That farmer's almanac is usually right I hate to admit. I just want to sit outside and have the warm sun beat down on my face.....is that to much to ask?

all done
Well, My surgery went well. I got into the OR about 10 am thursday morning. I remember being in mid conversation with the nurse and then the next thing I knew I was being told I could go home. I was pretty soar for the first two days but am feeling much better now. I will say that I slept more those first 2 days then I have slept in the last 2 years. the pain meds just knock me out but it has been nice to sleep. I am going to try to be done with meds but we'll see how the day goes. Jason and my mom have been a big help. Thanks guys. I have already recieved a card from the guys at work that says, "congratulations on your new twins". Funny. I would expect nothing less from them. Just wanted to let everyone know I survived and am doing great.

Finally, I blog
I really hate that my computer is not working. Its my own fault because I haven't taken it in yet to get fixed but I really need to. Jason has been doing lots of homework and I just haven't been able to use his computer much. I used to blog at work all the time but they cracked down on security so like every website known to man is blocked including my blog so that is out. Anyway, I am finally blogging tonight.
We have been doing lots of fun stuff. This last week on Saturday we went to my nieces softball game and then a Loons game on the same day. Max was pretty sure he owned the stadium and that every person there was dying to meet him. He cracks me up. He walks into a place commands an audience. He loves people and people seem to love him. Micah on the other hand doesn't like anyone but me. Its a bit problematic really. I couldn't even leave him for an hour at the church nursery on Sunday because he was screaming his head off. He won't even go to Jason half the time lately. I hope this is just a phase because my back hurts. On Sunday after church we went to our friend Cheryl's house. We work with her and she is so very nice. She had all the little kids over to her house for a hay wagon ride and to see the baby sheep and cows. otherwise known as lambs and calves. Max and Micah both loved this. Max got to drive the tractor and he was pretty proud of himself. Thanks for a great afternoon Cheryl! After that we went to Aaron and Melissa's house for a BBQ. It was nice to relax and hang out with friends but we didn't stay long because the boys were so tired and crabby.
Today I took the boys to the Saginaw children's zoo. Its a cute little zoo. It was pretty chilly out today so a lot of the animals weren't out but it was still fun. We went for a little train ride and had fun waving to all the animals. Micah is into waving right now so we waved to every mammal both human and animal. Actually, we also waved to some reptiles and fish. Its cute to watch him wave. He does kind of a Miss America on steroids wave. If I ever get my computer fixed, I'll put a video up.
We have had a busy but fun filled last week. It doesn't seem to slow down either. I have surgery on Thursday. Next weekend we are going to Boyne. Jason has a conference to go to so I am going up with the boys and we are going to an indoor water park. The week after that, we leave for Florida. Yay. I am really looking forward to that. It will probably be complete disaster with the boys and driving but we are going to do it anyway. I'm sure this will be a learning experience but we'll have fun no matter what. I'll try to blog more and when I have the time and energy, I'll put some pictures up of all of our fun times listed above.
