I can not believe that just happened!

So I just had the boys outside playing. Max had on his brand new, never before worn winter coat. We were having fun in the snow when we spotted a neighborhood cat in our yard. Max and Micah went to investigate. I assumed the cat would run away like they usually do but instead it attacked Max. It completely ruined his new coat and broke the skin on his arm. It ran off and its lucky it did because if not, it would be dead right now. We came into the house and I called animal control. They told me all I could do is live trap it and bring it in. Well, I will live trap it but I can guarantee you it would make into animal control.

Frogs and Fish

Santa brought the boys a fish tank for Christmas. We got it set up on Saturday and went and got our marine life on Sunday. We ended up with 2 frogs named Ocean and Oscar. Max named them after his two friends at daycare. We also got 3 goldfish. They have yet to be named but I'm thinking about the orange one, the white one and the black one. Now lets just see how long they all live.

pics.

fun with baby Blake.

How stinking cute is this!

Nap time!

Micah doesn't really like anyone but Sharpie. He just crawled right into Sharpie's lap and snuggled in. It was really adorable.

Christmas

We had a great Christmas! We are very blessed and fortunate and so thankful for everything!

When Max got up and came into the living room he looked at all the presents and said, "Hey, how did Santa get into our house"? It wasn't really amazement that Santa is magic, he seemed a little irritated that someone was in our house while we were all sleeping.

Max was a little whirlwind ripping into every present he could find. He wasn't even stopping to see what he got. It was pretty funny to watch.

Micah was pretty laid back about everything, I think this is the only gift Max let him open.

The boys got lots of geotrax stuff. They love geotrax and will sit and play with it forever.

Saturday we went to my mom's and celebrated Christmas.

Uncle John and Aunt Dani were able to join us too, Yay!

This tractor goes forward and backwards and also plays the chicken song. I can't explain to you how awesome that this.

Lance and Brooke

Katie and Blakers

Max's new tool bench. He has not stopped playing with it since he opened it.

Micah can't resist playing with an ornament.

Sunday we celebrated Christmas at Jay's mom's house. It was really nice. Max had a riot opening all of his presents, and Micah's presents and Blakes presents..........you get the idea.

Do you think Micah likes Mrs. Clause?

The Santa House

Every year we go to the Santa House in Midland. Well last year was our first time so I should say twice now we have been to the Santa House. There is no way to describe it besides "magical". There is so much to see. They do a great job of switching it up every year too. The boy had fun and Jay and I had fun.

Potty Training

Max turned 3 on Monday and we told him that he was done with diapers that day. We have been building him up for this for months. He had been telling us that when he turns 3 then he will be big like daddy and can use the potty. We held him to this. So Monday morning we stripped him of his diaper and threw some big boy underwear on him. I can't believe how good he is doing. He has had a couple accidents but for the most part he has taken to it. We are still working on the pooping in the potty but he's getting there. I am so looking forward to the day that we are done with diapers. Go Max!

The Handy Manny Motorcylce was a hit.

Jason's dad got Max this tub of cars and he was so excited. He just kept saying, "Oh my gosh" and jumping up and down.

We had a Cars party this year. It was lots of fun.

Max did a great job blowing out his candles. He managed to only spread about 10 thousand germs.

It was a great party. It was tight in our small house but we managed.

Vegas day life

Jason and I were in Vegas this week from Monday to Friday. Jason was in a conference most of the time but we both had lots of fun. There is so much to do and see there. It was fun just to walk around and catch the sights.

Even Christmas is done on a grand scale.

I thought this ceiling was beautiful. I don't even remember what Casino it was in anymore.

Inside Paris. It really feels like you are there and outside.

ode to Slash at the Hard Rock. Jason was impressed.

Dinner at the Hard Rock with everyone from work. Us three ladies hung out during the day while the guys were in class. It was fun.
