Easter Egg Hunt

The Clare Airport does an Easter Egg drop for the kids every year. It is in theory, a great idea. So I took the kids. Things started going wrong when I forgot the kids' Easter baskets for them to collect eggs in. Luckily, there was an ambulance there for the kids to go through so I made myself at home and grabbed some garbage bags for them to use.

The plane soon came and started dropping the Easter Eggs a little late. There were about 5 eggs in the airport and the rest of them landed on the other side of the road in the woods. So five kids got eggs and the rest of the kids were all sad. So they decided to let the kids go again. The plane dropped the eggs on time this time but there still wasn't enough eggs to go around so kids were still sad. The boys managed to get a couple of eggs and get some candy so that was ok.

We then waited in line 30 minutes for this creepy clown to make the boys balloon swords. We didn't even make it back the car before Micah's popped. He was sobbing and I felt so bad for him but not bad enough to wait in line another 30 minutes.

The event had potential to be really fun but it didn't go so well. We'll give it
a try again next year.
