We went to a roller skating birthday party for our niece on Saturday. It didn't go well. First of all, never wake both of your kids up from a much needed nap to go roller skating. It doesn't work. Second don't send your 3 year old who has never skating out with daddy who can't skate to save his life. It also helps if you don't have a very grumpy 19 month old clinging to you like white on rice. Jason and Max made around the rink once and then traded in their skates for good old shoes. We'll try again in a couple of years.Tuesday, March 2, 2010
Roller Skating......not our thing

OMG! I haven't seen the inside of that building in 25 years!!
I remember we went there for a church party and they played that song "Ooo Heaven is a place on earth" because it had the word "heaven" in it and we were a church group! Ha!
I feel you, Stephanie! We went to a gymnastics party this weekend...my first outing with the two kids by myself. Let's just say it ended with two dads holding down Amya just to get her boots on her!! Ugh! ...parenthood!! :) ....c.
