a new door

our new door which was carefully strapped to the roof of our car. Jason even did the one arm out the window, hold the door in place maneuver.
old door out

what a mess we made.

We have been needing a new front door forever so today we decided to get one. We got a new door, a new storm door and a new outside light. Jason did an awesome job installing them and they look great. Just in time for the cold weather to roll in.....yay.

Roadside glads

Jason and I stopped at a roadside stand on the way home from his parent's house last night. They had these beautiful glads for sale. The best $5 I've spent in awhile.

a fun day at grandma and grandpa's house

Max, Jason and Uncle Lance went fishing on the pond today. They all had fun and caught several fish. Micah was super giggly and cuddly and it was just an all around great day. Thanks for the fun time grandma and grandpa!

colors and kids

The boys at dinner

a colorful blanket fort, colorful veggies and beautiful flowers I got at the farmer's market. I love bright colors.

The farmers market

We went to the farmer's market today at Island Park. This is the first time I have been to the Mt. Pleasant farmer's market. I know that is so sad but I will be going back. It was great. We went to play afterwards and the boys had a blast.

The spray park

Today I took the boys to Sanford Lake park. There is a nice beach there and a new spray park. This is the first time we have been there and I was surprised how nice it was. The park website said they have spent a million dollars revamping the park. The boys had lots of fun. We met our friend Erin and her twins there. We would have liked to have stayed and played longer with them but Micah had a "I need a nap" meltdown. We will definitely be going back to the park next year and maybe the weather will hold out to go again this year.

Max, Micah, Nevin and Maddison building a sand castle.

We took a time out for icecream.

Yum

This is a good shot of the spray park. There is a little more to the left that I didn't fit into my shot. It butts up to the beach which is also very nice.

Just some pictures

He looks too happy to be sitting in the naughty chair.
I think more of Micah's Popsicle got on his shirt and face than in his belly.

red, white and blue pop on a John Deere.....yee ha.

Micah fell asleep holding this angel bear. so cute.
