All About Jesus

I have been trying to get the boys to understand why we celebrate Christmas. While Max was looking at the Nativity scene ornament on the tree this morning I thought it would be a good time talk about it some more. Here is our conversation.........

Me: Max, did you know that Christmas is Jesus' birthday and that's why we celebrate Christmas every year?

Max: Is Jesus coming down to see us?

Me: Someday, but not right now.

Max: I think he needs a parachute to get down because that helps you get down from the sky.

Me: Amen

Sunday was the Christmas program at church. The boys did pretty good. You know, as well as any 3 and 4 year old boys will do dancing and singing. As a mom is was great to see my kids up there. As a Sunday school teacher, it was exhausting but fun to see all the kids somewhat doing what we have been practicing the last month.
