Swimming lessons

 The boys took swimming lessons this summer.

 They both did so well.

It was so fun to watch them learn and do better each class.

We love forts

 The boys love to build forts and sleep in them.  It took up the entire living room but it was so adorable to see them passed out in there building achievement.

its just shameful

Its just simply shameful that I can not seem to find time to update this blog!  Its October 29th and I am just now posting stuff from July!  I swear my son's and husband's birthdays were important to me!  I keep saying I'm going to be better about updating but I don't know if that's true.  I will just say that I'm going to try.

 Happy Birthday Daddy! We got daddy a new gun to shoot all the little critters we've got around here.

 We even got to go out to dinner with friends.  Doesn't Mary Lou look excited!

A day on the boat

 We always go out on the boat with Grandma Tina.  Micah is ready to go!

Micah Turns 4

 Happy Birthday Micah! How quickly 4 years went by.

 We had a construction themed party.  The cakes not too bad for an amateur how?

 It was really fun doing all of the construction themed stuff for this party.

 The party finished up with some fishing.  Not too shabby grandpa!

Summer Family Photos in Our New Backyard

 The fields behind and in front of our house get leased to a farmer.  This year he planted wheat and I loved looking at it.  I wish he could plant wheat every year. I love this picture of Micah. 

 It was so hot out when we were doing these pictures.  We waited until 7 pm to do them but it was still about 95 degrees.  It shows in a lot of pictures but we still managed to get some good ones.

 I love old barns and ours seems to make a pretty good back drop.

 Look at how hot this poor kid is.  He is still so handsome even if he is a little sweaty for these pictures.

This is my favorite picture!  I plan to get this in the largest size possible and hang it on a wall somewhere.
