Present time...............finally.

The Handy Manny Motorcylce was a hit.

Jason's dad got Max this tub of cars and he was so excited. He just kept saying, "Oh my gosh" and jumping up and down.

We had a Cars party this year. It was lots of fun.

Max did a great job blowing out his candles. He managed to only spread about 10 thousand germs.

It was a great party. It was tight in our small house but we managed.

Vegas day life

Jason and I were in Vegas this week from Monday to Friday. Jason was in a conference most of the time but we both had lots of fun. There is so much to do and see there. It was fun just to walk around and catch the sights.

Even Christmas is done on a grand scale.

I thought this ceiling was beautiful. I don't even remember what Casino it was in anymore.

Inside Paris. It really feels like you are there and outside.

ode to Slash at the Hard Rock. Jason was impressed.

Dinner at the Hard Rock with everyone from work. Us three ladies hung out during the day while the guys were in class. It was fun.

My Grand Canyon Tour

I really wanted to go see the Grand Canyon while I was in Vegas. I decided to take tour that flew me over Hoover Dam and Lake Mead and then landed and let me explore the West Canyon. I am so glad I took the trip. I was absolutely beautiful. I was quite peaceful too. I was the only one there by myself and the only American. The 10 other people on my tour barely spoke English so I didn't really have to talk to anyone. Kind of nice for a change.

Lake Mead. Its the biggest man made lake in the world.

Hoover Dam.

This part of the Canyon is called Eagle's Point because of this part of the rock that looks like an eagle with its wings spread.

They do Native american music and dancing here. It kind of reminded me of home.

I could have stayed at the Canyon all day. There was beauty to be found everywhere.

I think these rocks looks like Egyptian statues.

I was glad my group could speak enough English to understand, " Can you take a picture for me"?

There was a little trail that wound its way up the Canyon. It was actually a little scary at times. One little slip and could fall to your death. It really made me watch where I was stepping. This was one of the widest parts of the trail.

There was an old building here for minors that were mining guano for a couple of years. Did you know they used to put that in our makeup? Yup, bat poop in makeup. Nice.

Vegas Night Life

While in Vegas we checked out the sites and saw two shows. We caught and impersonators show and also went to a murder mystery dinner theatre. It was really fun. I'm sorry to admit that we never made past 11 pm. I did think that was pretty good though being 2 am our time.

I got my picture take with these guys and then they were mad because I wouldn't pay them $3 each. I guess they should have told me before hand.

Down Town Vegas. It was fun getting off the strip.

We rented a Limo one night to go to our show. It only cost 10 dollars more than taking two cabs. We thought, "we're in Vegas why not live it up".

The guys took this a little too far.

Vegas from the top of the Stratospheres.

Our boss Mike at the murder mystery show. He got to be the pretend doctor who pronounced people dead.

Matt got to participate too. He got to play this kazoo and lead a death march. It was hilarious.

I love the Reno 911 shorts.

after our murder mystery dinner, we caught this comedian. It was really funny. I'm glad Jason didn't get pictures of me getting dragged on stage and completely embarrassed!
